Welcome to Herman Avenue School! We have a proud tradition of excellence in education and continue to strive for improvement each day. The staff consists of a committed, caring group of highly trained, certified teachers and other professional and non-professional personnel to make an excellent configuration.

Approximately 425 students of diverse backgrounds and ethnicity attend our

school with a student to teacher ratio of approximately 22:1. Differentiated Instruction is evident in all classrooms and we also have Co-Teaching teams in place to meet the needs of all learners. Technology is a priority as we have computer access in all classrooms and a staffed computer lab. Our curriculum is rigorous for all students along with being age and needs appropriate.

We are a small, city school with a "neighborhood feeling." Being a native Auburnian, I have a vested interest in our community's children and their families. If I can be of any further assistance, please call or stop by for a chat.
